Throw out the tea, make some strong coffee, add in a measure of whiskey and some sugar, and put some lightly whipped cream on top - voila, Irish Coffee!
Alternatively, still with coffee, stir in a measure of Bailey's and have a Bailey's coffee - it's REALLY nice.

i suppose that depends on the sort of tea your mixing. if its a straight black tea, go with whatever liquor you prefer because the tea will not have a significant effect on the taste of the liquor. if it is a spicy tea, like the good earth original, i would go with rum or whiskey. if it is a lighter tea, green, white, oolong, etc., i would use vodka and add lemon juice and i would ice it. i mix a drink with green matcha powder, vodka, lemon juice, and aloe vera juice. it's good, highly caffienate and healthy as balls. try it out.

Honey, you are talking about a "Hot-Toddy!!" My mom used to make those for us kids, back in the 70s, when we were really sick, and we had no insurance!! But, we were teenager's, and she'd only allow us to have one...Your favorite Bourbon, or whiskey....the tea, honey, and lemon...Works wonders, on "Colds!!" Good Luck hun! I hope you'll get to feeling better, real soon!! smile!!!

Its basically a hot toddy (not sure of the spelling). We always used tea, brandy, lemon and honey.

I take it this is tea without milk... *shudders at the thought of alcohol-curdled milk*
Pimms works well.
Or Cointreau (or any other orange liqueur)
So does sloe gin.

Makes no sense. Essentially a stimulant, with a sedative - like chaser? Have a cup of joe. That'll put you back on track.
