Hon, I don't live there but you can call the American Dental Society which is listed in the phone book for your area- they will give you the names of all dentists that accept your insurance OR you can call the medicaid office and they also can give you the lists of dentists that accept or have your phone book open and you give them the names, they check to see if they participate, otherwise your other alternative is to call each office and ask them...

I don't live in that area and had a really hard time when I was looking for a dentist who took Medicaid for my children a few years ago.

MEDICAID DOES NOT PUBLISH A DIRECTORY (in MI at least), so please don't tell this questioner that! I called the offices that run Medicaid asking for a directory and they said they don't publish one and actually suggested that I pull out the phone book and call all of the dentists and ask them if they take it. Because we all have the time to do that!!!

What I evened up doing was calling 1-800-Dentist and asked them for a referral in my area that took Medicaid. It's worth a shot and free. Good luck.

THE BEST THING TO DO FOR THIS SITUATION IS TO CALL YOUR LOCAL PUBLIC AID OFFICE AND ASK THEM FOR A DIRECT GROUP OF DENTISTS THAT MAY ACCEPT THIS PLAN. GOOD LUCK.
