No. To claim her she would have to:

Live with you ALL year.

Have less than $3,300 in gross income.

Have to have received more than half of her total support for the year from you.

It looks like you miss on all requirements.

In the USA, you can only claim someone as a dependent if they live with you for the whole calendar year, of they were born during the year.

There is a dependent test, that must be met, get the tax book and see if she qualifies. If she is not a resident, I dont think so but look at the tax book, it is very specific.

Dependents are usually minor children, but there may be exceptions. Contact the IRS or surf their web site for answers.

If she made over $3300, then no. Otherwise if you provided over half of her support FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR then you probably can. But if she just lived with you for the summer, you probably don't meet that amount.

Only if she is not going to claim herself, or if she made under a certain amount of money!
