have had a gut feeling that he and I wouldn't get married ( it happened a month or two ago...everytime I get those feelings they have never been wrong. I really like him alot, but this really does bother me, I don't get it, he's a great guy, he's honest and even though the gut feeling only happened once, I feel like maybe i should let go....he has told me that he gets gut feelings that I am the one, I really hope so, I'm only worried about it b/c like i said my intuition hasn't been wrong so far

when we first started talking, I was still involved with this guy who was horrible to me and my gut feeling told me that if I let my current boyfriend go that I would regret it

So you had a one time gut feeling that you wouldn't get married with him and now you're considering ending the relationship?

If marriage is what you're really after then maybe I could see it, but if it's a normal relationship then what's the problem?

And it seems to me that your feelings are always right only because you make them right. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Sounds like you get the gut feeling once and that's all you need to break it off, so that's the reason your gut is always right. So just ignore your intuition for once and see what happens.

Maybe you guys should just sit down and have a talk about your future. Bring up this intuition of yours and ask him to tell you why he feels that you are the one. Your intuition might have just been in reaction to a fight or something like that, but definitely trust your instinct. After you guys talk try and evaluate how you feel about it and just do what your gut is telling you. Best of luck!

Just because you know he isn't "the one" doesn't mean you have to tell him all the details of how you had a gut feeling, but honestly - if you still have that feeling, you need to tell him so you both can get on with life & find "the one" meant for YOU!!!

Dont worry. If it is meant to be it will be and if it isnt meant to be than it wont be there is really nothing that you and do about it, but you cant sit down and talk to him. Let him no what is going on, but dont say lets take a break. Never say Its not you it is me because then he is going to think that there is another guy.

Always go with your instincts. They are never wrong, maybe it's just telling you to back off for a while and re-think things. Doesn't necessarily mean that he's the worse guy alive, it just means that his purpose in your life might not be what you expect.

If you end the relationship you'll never know if this could have been the first time it was wrong. Me? I'd keep him as long as things go well.

Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me.. maybe you need to work out some issues.. are you afraid of commitment? Maybe you are and you just don't know it..
