An Embassy is an overseas representation office for a country, so there is no need for an Irish Embassy in Ireland, just as there is no Chinese Embassy in China. Get hold of an Irish phone book, they list all the government departments and offices.

I don't think there's an Irish Embassy in Ireland. You probably have to go to the embassy of your own country in Ireland, look in the Irish phonebook or do an internet search ""your country" embassy ireland".
The Garda National Immigration Bureau usually can help (I can't promise that they'll be the friendliest of people, I've been there many times...) www.gnib.ie I think.
My boyfriend is American, I'm Irish, I've been told that when we get married we have to show our marriage certificate to the GNIB people and they stamp his passport to allow him to work in Ireland.

There is no such thing as an Irish Embassy in Ireland.

If you are looking for a marriage certificate, I would contact the registrar of births, deaths and marriages at the following website address...

If you are looking for Irish citizenship through a post nup cert you are about a year too late. The door closed on that way in 11/30/05, sorry. If you want more information contact the Irish Consulate in most major American cities. (NY NY or Chicago come to mind.) Good luck.
