my friends claim that i trust my boyfriend too much because I let him go out with his friends to the club and i believe him when he tells me she just an old friend. should i be more strict on him?

Don't listen to your friends. If you trust him keep doing that, unless he gives you reasons not to trust him. If you start questioning him now you will seem really insecure and believe it or not guys do have girls that are just friends. Treat him how you would like to be treated in the situation.

You don't own him, you're not his boss, and technically the guy can do what he wants. If you want him to stay with you, trust him. Guys like it when their girl isn't burying them with sh*t every time they talk to another girl. Trust him, and if he screws you, dump him. It's as simple as that. If you're 'strict' you'll probably end up being dumped.

No, you should not be more strict on him. If you believe that you can trust him, trust him - but, don't be in denial if there *are* reasons to not trust him. If he proves to be unworthy of that trust, then end the relationship.

The only time you should be strict on him is if you know he's doing something with her that he shouldn't be.
It could be that he's behaving perfectly normal though so there's no need to jump the gun.

no, trust is the basis of a relationship, he should be trusted, and if he betrays that trust, that's when you take measures and/or dump him. if you start off with limited trust, your relationship is doomed for sure.
