my dog and his bed?

recently my dog likes to lie in his bed with the side of it in his mouth, so he sucks it. What makes him do this???

If he's a young puppy (or really even an older dog), it could be a comfort action that relaxes him. It could also be that something spilled on it that tastes good, or that he just feels like chewing on something, or that the texture feels good. I wouldn't worry about it!

Lot's of dogs 'suck'.

Some grow out of it, some don't.
