so far, I'm going to buy the Reebok punchbag from Argos (page 227, item 20 i think) it looks good, and it's £170 so it's the cheapest one i've found so far.
by the way, before you say it, i can't have a hanging bag because of my walls and ceilings...

depending where you live in the uk i casn reccomend soccer sports and jjb sports they have a sale on at the moment those places are in southampton

I read your question very closely, it appears you want to be a cheap free standing punch bag, well I reckon if you come round my house I could punch you all day, with no cash exchanging hands at all, that would make you a very cheap punch bag.....
