Well they focus on speaking in tongues a little too much- I would not go there- some believe you have to speak in tongues to be saved- which is false doctrine- for the Bible is clear this is a gift of the Holy Spirit and many have different gifts.
1 Corinthians 12:28
And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

I have never been to an Assembly of God church, but as long as they are preaching the truth...it is ok.

the place where you feel the presence of GOD upon you, that is the place you should be.... and yes the assembly of GOD is a great church! i know many people who go to that church.... pray that GOD might guide you to the church HE wants you to be in... where you feel HIS PRESENCE fall upon you, that is where you should be.... but let our heavenly FATHER guide you.... GOD BLESS!! GOD IS GOOD!!!

the one i went to was scary. they were hooping and hollering. and yes, iknow that was the Holy Spirit in them. it's just to me, the Holy Spirit is known to work in wonders, and silence too. i'm sticking to the church Jesus built 2007 years ago- the catholic church!
