Why do men call us women High Maintenance?

When most women know what they want and speak their mind their boyfriends or men all of a sudden say "oh, your high maintenance". For example, I told my boyfriend I was cold and asked him to turn up the heat and he called me High Maintenance. On another time, we were out to eat and I was very specific with my order and once again I was called it again. If us women want our food or anything else a certain way then why are we called that? Plz be nice...I am just wondering.

I would say that your man is over-reacting...that is not high maintenance, that is just knowing what you want.

UUUh because you spend like 30 minutes or more putting on makeup and styling your hair before you can walk outside to get the newspaper? I mean we appreciate you looking high maintenance it just that you take so long doing it it's kinda like a guy waiting for a girl to put on a hot outfit while he is still erect but by the time your done were not excited no more or were snoozing.

i like everything a certain way too and i like for my man to help me out sometimes to make sure that i'm comfortable, whether that be emotionally or physically.
i don't think it's right that your man calls you 'high maintenance'. i have never been called that, and if a man did call me that, i wouldn't give him the time of day =)

Not all women are that way Some are.Women that like "Keeping up with the Jones" that is high maitenance.More is NEVER enough.Want,want,want and are never satisfied.You dont sound like that to me.
