The Veterinarian told us not to stress her or bathe her, what to do (my baby smells).

Then don't bath her. People usually end up way, way over-bathing their dogs and cause terribly dry skin and coat. If you need to do anything, you can use dry shampoo on her or even baby wipes.

Listen to your vet. It wouldn't be a good idea to bathe the dog while it's sick. It could catch a cold and make the dog worse. And as your vet said, it will stress the dog out and make things way worse for you and the dog. You could try taking a warm rag with a little soap on it. Wash the vital areas, could wash her face while you are at it. Rinse the rag out and wipe off the areas that you used the soapy rag on. You might want to go over her a few times with the rinse rag. While you do this, talk softly and calmly to her. Use a dry towel to wipe her off after you are done washing her. Try to assure her that it will be ok and she will feel better. Use a soft voice and just keep talking to her. Take your time as you do wash her, don't rush through it as you will only make matters worse for you and your dog. Hope this helps!

pet stores sell a special shampoo for cats but it can also be used for dogs. When I worked at the SPCA I worked with Parvo puppies and they needed to be bathed all the time because they were bleeding and vomiting on themselves. all it is is like a foam, you spray it on and massage it in...if she is sick she might actually like being massaged and then you take a dry towl and wipe it off. worked wondered on the parvo pups..since they could NOT be bathed. I would definatly suggest that and inbetween baths...use a babywipe :)

Unscented baby wipes work well, and you also lightly wet a rag and kind of rub the puppy down. If the vet told you not to stress her or bathe her, please don't. Good luck, though!

any kind of bath wipes will work, the dog will just think you are paying extra special attention instead of washing her. They actually have wipes for dogs at the pet store they seem to be the best for animals

If your vet specifically told you not to bathe her, then DON'T bathe her. If she's stinky, you may be able to rub her coat softly with a scented dyer sheet, but ask you vet before you do that in case her condition may make her too sensitive to such things.

There are some dry shampoos that you can sprinkle on her and then brush out. Or you can just use baking soda. It will not hurt her and will neutralize odors. Brush her gently, but thoroughly.

just get a warm, damp cloth and wipe her down, front and back, as if you were petting her. This will help get the dirt/smell off without hurting her or stressing her out.

Try unscented talcum powder like johnstones baby powder until you can bath her
