Well how did you get it? OEM software is bundled with hardware. I received Nero OEM software when I got my dvd burners. When I rodered Windows XP OEM it came with a case fan. If you legally acquired it then its your's and you can use it. If not then that is up to you and your ethics.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) software is pre-installed software that is included in the purchase price of the computer you buy. So lets say you buy a computer that has a programme installed that I would like too add to my computer, too use your CD too install it on my computer is in fact illegal. As mentioned earlier, if you try too get tech support, they can check too see if you are the licensed user, but you would be able too use it unless you have too use a registration code too install it and this code has been used on another computer.

OEM software is for someone who buys bulk and may sell a machine with that software pre-installed. You won't get in any trouble if you use it tho so i would just use it.
