Could be a fake file . But try these 2 sites and then check again
1'st VLC is a player and will play almost any file. Even partial downloads !
2'nd is a codec XviD-1.1.2-01112006.exe ( the ony 1 i use )

Download a program called avi codec. Open the movie in there and see what type of video file they actually are and download the needed codec via google search.
