Could be a fake file . But try these 2 sites and then check again
1'st VLC is a player and will play almost any file. Even partial downloads !
2'nd is a codec XviD-1.1.2-01112006.exe ( the ony 1 i use )

Download a program called avi codec. Open the movie in there and see what type of video file they actually are and download the needed codec via google search.

goto www.free-codecs.com and get the video codecs for the type of video files your using. usually DivX, Xvid, are the best and try installing the Ac3 codecs just to add to your audio codecs as most movies use it.

Windows media player will not work. Use something called VLC media player and it will play for you.
