I want to make a deep-treatment conditioner for my hair out of household ingredients. . . Any suggestions on how I would go about this?

Mush up bananas and go for it! Use the leftovers for shaving cream.

I agree, olive oil and mayo are both very good treatment for hair. Another mask I do sometimes, is olive oil, honey and lemon, sometimes I add egg yolk as well. This mask is very good for your scalp since there is a lot of natural vitamin E and lecithin. I would have a hair mask while taking a bath, then shampoo my hair as usual, in the end rinsing the hair with a cool water with added vinegar. That is old recipe, and I was surprised to see that some spa use it as well now. You need only 1-2 tablespoon of vinegar (I use rice or apple) per pitcher, hair will be shiny and strong. There are plenty of other rinses you can use, by adding herbal potion to the water: chamomile, black tea, green tea are the simplest of them. Even though I use a very good shampoo all the time, I believe there is nothing better for you than natural ingredients.

I make me very own, it relatively is extra cost-effective, i do no longer have faith chemical compounds and its in basic terms easy exciting! i'm an beginner mixtress. I combination: extra suitable Virgin Olive Oil+ Whipped Shea butter (I whip it myself with an electric powered beater)+ slightly honey+ coconut oil. Now I combination those mutually and placed them into my hair and take a seat under a dryer for 40 5 minutes. Any deep conditioner penetrates hair shaft extra appropriate with warmth. you apart from might do no longer could use a mix. Any of the above components artwork as a deep conditioners on my own. Just use some mayonnaise. Apply it to damp, shampooed hair, put on a plastic cap, and leave it for about thirty minutes, then rinse it out. It CAN leave a smell, so massage a little conditioner through your hair to get rid of "Potato Salad Head."

As many have suggested - mayo works as deep conditioner. (Also raw eggs.)

And what I haven't seen yet is that beer works as good shampoo!

Hot olive oil. Works BEAUTIFULLY. Just heat the oil put on the hair ends and leave on for a few hours, then wash as you normally would.

you can do this.. shampoo your hair towel dry it, take any brand of mayonnaise and apply it to your hair, wrap it in a plastic and place a warm towel around your head. the oils in the mayo will be absorbed into your hair.

Avacados work good too. a little smelly but they work. mash them up and do as you would if it was mayo.
