clear skin?

im 23 and have always had pretty good skin but recently have had quite a problem with spots around my mouth. I drink a lot of water and have a pretty good diet. I have smoked but just given up.

Any advice? I dont use many creams or any make up

sometimes spots around the mouth are hormonal acne, otherwise, there is something called perioral dermatitis. either usually respond to prescription cremes like 'clindamycin' or 'metronidazole'. you can try over the counter acne cremes, neutrogena has good products, if that doesn't help, consult a doctor. I'm in the field, so I know alot about skin, but sometimes you need to see it to know for sure.

Well, that depends are the spots inflamed? Are they sore? Or are they simply just red blotches? If so, you need to make sure that you have a very gentle yet effective skin care routine. Visit a dermatologist. They will better assist you! Best of luck!

I recently began having the same problem. I went to a dermotologist last week.She gave me Clindoxyl Gel to use in the morning and Retin A cream to be used at nights. I've started seeing results. Good luck!
