Oh but it does speak of the "slain in the Spirit" John was IN the Spirit....

Slain here means FILLED.. not killed...

maybe you all need to check it out for self study, in order to show thyself approved...

I really thought I would get better answers to this one. Guess not many know what this is about... only those like the Pentecostals I guess.

Most people fall face first and then find religion.

I don't recall where I read but when a person falls back and staring up into the heavens, that is not the true connection with the Holy Spirit. When a person falls down with face to the ground, this is the right and true connection. The reference I read was mentioning how the demons look up when they posses someone, but the truly possessed of the Holy Spirit have reverence to God therefore they cover their faces by facing down. I do know I did not read the phrasing 'slain in the spirit' in the Holy Bible.

I have been slain in the Spirit many times. Usually my knees just give way and I go straight down (like the falling walls of Jericho! lol) but I have also fallen straight back too. My cousin fell face forward but it was because someone was behind her and held her up and did not allow her to go backward. She was limp and was going down one way or another and her body simply went the way of least resistance. I know it was God too because she actually hit pretty hard but she didn't feel a thing and was never sore or anything afterward. She has a ton of really bad physical problems so this was a miracle in itself. 99% of what I've seen and experienced is a backward falling or straight down. It is rare to fall forward. I don't remember the Bible saying specific directions for the experience.

Filled with the spirit is one thing and being slain is another any way God wants to put you,it is an exsperience you will never foget if it ever happens to you i mean it Going back to slain in the spirit, you can be slain in the spirit and then get fill with at the same time.Everbody needs to have this happen to them.

When slain in the Holy Spirit they fall flat on their backs. I have witness at the altar. You never know who has been slain in the spirit. If you have been you do not need a Scripture. You know it is God.

Are they standing or sitting?
I don't know. I don't think you can answer such a question.
I am still confused as to what you reference when you say "slain in the Spirit." Do you have a specific reference. Rev 1:10 says nothing about being slain in the spirit.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallen_angels

There are a number of beliefs regarding fallen angels. Many focus on issues of free will, lust, pride, or the incomprehensibility of the acts of God. An act by God of creation was foreseen as resulting in multiple outcomes, with each of these three doctrines that were traits held by certain angels. These fallen angels foresaw the doom impending. In one entity, that is both omnipotent and omnipresent, who gives certain ideas to humanity and expects only one right way to live - by universal morals, ethics and faith. However, given the doctrine of free will, each one of these ideas leads one to speculate on the basis of duality of right and wrong, good and evil, and heaven and hell.

No usually they fall on there back! But unless it is more than the holy spirit. They just want to show out!?

"For the Lord gives us wisdom out his own mouth cometh knowledge and underdstanding."

Unscriptural. Would like verses to refute my claim though.

Those slain in the spirit, were actually slain... like the man and wife in Acts who sold their goods, saying they had given all to God, but actually keeping some for themselves, trying to lie to God. Peter calls them out and they both fell dead. It was not a sin to not give God all their money, it was a sin that they tried to deceive God, thus showing their unbelief that He was God.
