Ok s here's the deal..terrence is the guy i've been dealing with for 2 years (but he's not my boyfriend) I really love him, but he's always telling me he's not ready for a relationship. But i contine to make him a priority ( i don't know why) we are in real deep. But recently I Finally sarted talking to a guy named Joe...we are so much a like, he's like the male version of myself...I like him alot, But I love Terrence, should I cut Terrence off for good or not? I mean Terrence been telling that he is no ready, but I think it is b/c he knows I am very interested in Joe now...I dunno what to do? I need advice...HELP!!!

Honestly hon, you've waited two years for Terrence. And he says he's not ready. I would lay it on the line for him. Tell him that you love him and want a relationship with him - if that is what you really want. See what he says then.
Another thing to consider - how much can you love him if you're looking at another man? Why has Joe caught your attention now? If your attention is drifting, maybe you need to evaluate why. Look at what is really going on with you and Terrence. Is he not ready really - or is it because he doesn't have the same deep feelings you do?
You don't have to cut Terrence out of your life forever. But it might be hard at first to have him around while you are pursuing another relationship. You've been with him a good while, you don't have to through that relationship entirely down the drain. You also have to look at what is best for you. And accept that maybe there is someone better suited as your mate.

When you say you're "dealing" with somebody, that's never a good sign. Terrence has had a good thing going on and now he's starting to realize it. Unfortunately, I'm sure once he knows Joe's out of the picture, he'll go right back to being the guy you've been "dealing" with. And so what? Joe seems like a catch. Don't let him slip away for a guy who in two years was willing to sacrifice nothing.
Nothing gets you over the last one like the next one!

ok...tell Terrence that u want a guy that accepts u...did Terrence tell u he wasnt ready when u first didnt know Joe? if he did, that means hes probably not interested...i would keep a lookout for any girls nearby that Terrence would fall for. but get a chance with Joe. u dont have to stick with the same guy for all ur life...but that would be nice cuz they accept who u r.

Why cut off a friendship? He's not ready for a relationship, so you move on. He's been your friend for so long w/o any romantic linking, so...keep a friend...or see how much of a friend Terrence is by his reaction to moving on. He may end the "relationship" for you after the reality check.
But there's no reason for you to read more into a "friendship" than you should. Joe sounds great! Go for it! Good Luck!

If he ain't ready now he ain't gonna be ready later on in life, then no point starting a serious relationship with Terrence if he doesn't see you're worth it now, and if he doesn't step up now then it's his fault for not going out with you when he sees it in the future.
If Joe is ready now... then why not? go out with him, have fun! if you don't want to get too serious then don't get too serious, he should understand. you shouldn't cut Terrence out from your life, he will choose if he wants cut you out of his life when you go out with Joe.
Personaly I'd go out with the one who I can talk better with more (ie. better convasations)
