You can claim whatever you want.

We claim to know what God Himself has decided to reveal in His book (I mean the Bible) and we learned it through reading it. Then we extract principles from what we read and try to apply them in all spheres of life. That's the tricky part: if you are not really prepared, you can come to a conclusion that deveates from the truth. Heresies generally come that way.

But we are only human and as such we can't know God's mind completely: God works in mysterious ways.

I do not, nor have never claimed to know the mind of God. I know what has been revealed to me in His Sacred Word, I know the lessons taught by Jesus and I do my best (with God's grace) to follow His commandments.

1 corinthians 3;9-16
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him,
But God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows th thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit of God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by man, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing Spiritual truths in Spiritual words.
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

The spiritual man makes judgments about all things but he himself is not subject to man's judgment:
For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?
BUT we have the mind of Christ.

good point RELIGIOUS people claim they do..there is a difference in a religious person and a true Christian...plus the Bible is God's Holy Word..this is stuff HE said so that we may have a better relationship with Him because HE wants a relationship with us.

Another feeble attempt to confound religious people by presenting a logical conundrum, when the logic is incredibly weak and even the best logician cannot confound the basically illogical recipient.

We can't know all of God's mind except that which He has revealed to us in His scripture and through His prophets. And if we listen really close, He will reveal His will to each of us as it pertains to each of us personally.
