Yes, you are fine unless you have pus. Also make sue just to use regular soap and water, nothing else and DO NOT for any reason use Neosporin or those type products. My best friend is a body piercer and I have been sitting around the shop for years, if you get too worried go back to where you got it done and they can tell you if it is infected. Worst case you will have to take it out, but once it heals you can get it redone and hope it goes better this time!!!

Same thing happened to me. Everything looked normal. After 3 weeks it started to turn pink. I was using a product sold by the the guy who did the piercing. I was told after to use only Sea salt mixed in boiled water. You can prepare a small bottle. Use that as many times as possible during the day. Did the same thing with my daughter when she got hers and she had no problem at all. You can also buy at the pharmacy Hibitane, if its available where you are, its liquid soap you can use that before going to bed, works really well.

you have an infection. continue cleaning the area 3 times a day (no more as it can prevent healing) and make sure you are using a cream or spray cleaner such as polysporin. proxide and alchohol will dry out the area, promote scaring and cause the piercing to heal longer. baiting in epsin salts (can be bought at a drug store) can also help. Make sure you are wearing clothes that will cover the peircing and do not touch it unless you are cleaning it (wash hands before cleaning). Good luck, the infection should clear up soon if you continue to treat the area.

mine did that and it was like that for a while - I was given a topical anticeptic when i showered to use and it did work but it was a bit scary at first - I 'thought' what may have cause it was my moisturizer - so I was a bit more careful to be sure to clean it with a Q-tip and some peroxide after i showered right around the piercing.. it will eventually go away.. If it's oozing it's infected and you should see a doctor...

That never happened to me. It may be infected if it is get sea salt from Tops mix with water and hold over the piecing for a few minutes. This will help clean up the infection.

I'm sure it's normal for that to happen. Use an antibiotic cream on the area. It should be fine in a few days. Good luck!

Make sure to clean it with unscented soap, don't use alcohol! You could also be allergic to the jewelry, it's not uncommon. Hope everything works out ok!

Visit your doctor, maybe you have to use local antibiotic powder or cream and maybe even take some medications.
