My 1st pimple was I was in my early 20's, got me some antibiotics and some Retin A and by the time I was 23 i was done. Then I hit 30 a year and a half ago and they came back. This time I am using Proactiv. I have no idea why we get pimples at this age but they say we will not get that many wrinkles because of it.

You should really try Proactiv.
It really works. Sure the commercials are corny, but the stuff works freakin' miracles.
I had horrible acne my senior year in high school. I got Proactiv and by Graduation, my skin was so clear, for my pics, they didn't even have to use the gloss finish to cover over blimishes - there were none!
And if you don't like it, you can send it back for free. Even the ones you get at like the Mall Kiosks and stuff.
Hope this helped, and wish ya the best!

It all depends on one's skin and hormones. I am 30 and I still get them because I have an oily T zone. I use good cleansers and everything, but that doesn't prevent them all from coming. Things like stress can cause the hormones to change and the boby to produce more oils which can cause a break out. I really don't think there's a specific age.

Honestly, you can continue to have acne your entire life. Generally adolescents are the ones that get acne due to puberty but it is becoming more common in adults. You may want to seek the assistance of a dermatologist and let him/her know that you are having issues with adult acne. It could be coming from a number of sources including heredity so it may be a good idea to find out.

My mother is 51 and still gets pimples from time to time.
No matter how old you get, you can still break out. If its a serious problem or heavy breakouts, see a dermatologist about treatments that are available.

I hear that if you didn't have it as a teen, that you will in your mid 20's or 30's. I guess it's how the world works.
