I would think it would be 11:06am, since that's 666 minutes into the day.

Actually, the Devil doesn't exist. God doesn't exist either.

3:00 am is the demonic witching hour to mock 3:00pm which is traditionally accepted as the hour of Christ's death. It is also a mock of the holy trinity- The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Always remember, for everything that God has, the devil has an opposite (but no equal).....

in Chinese astrology, it's hour of the ox, from 1-3 (it's divided into 12 "hours", or time frames, every astrological hour = 2 our hours).
Chinese divided a day into 12 hours.
In ancient Japanese time, the Hour of the Ox was the special hour of ghosts.
It began at two in the morning, and lasted until four.
There was a Japanese expression “Ushi-mitsu-doki - "the third
hour of the ox, when even plants and trees are asleep,” which could be translated as “in the dead of night.”
The earlier Buddhist teachings describe the hour of the ox as "the end of darkness" and the hour of the tiger, the following two hours for us, as "the beginning of light," and ones that describe all Buddhas as having attained enlightenment at this time. The passage from the hour of the ox to the hour of the tiger therefore symbolizes the transition from the unenlightened condition of a common mortal to the enlightened condition of a Buddha.
The hour of the Ox corresponds to the end of yin (the negative), which signifies death, and the hour of the Tiger corresponds to the beginning of yang (the positive), which signifies life.
So, it is a "deadly" hour.
It was observed, too, that most people die at that hour. If someone's very ill and survives that hour, he/she will live.
The sleep at that hour is difficult, hard, the breathing is shallow.
There is a medical condition, called "Night terror". It usually occurs in young boys, but may occur in adutls as well. It's a sleep disorder, seeing nightmares, being unable to wake up... It usually happend during the hour of the ox as well.
It's the darkerst hour of the night, just before the dawn.
Thence, perhaps, the superstion about the devil.

Traditionally, it is 3:00 a.m. that is the devils hour. I have never heard midnight, and I have never heard anything about possession - having woken at 3:00 a.m. many times, myself. Why are you so concerned with it? Did you wake up at three and fear a demonic possession? Don't worry. Unless you are taking some horrible medication to prevent epilepsy, even if you are, in fact, possessed, it will pass through you quite naturally.

In the past I have heard the saying 4:00 a.m. is when the Devil Walks.

Midnight is the Witching Hour because many witches do their spells by the light of the moon and have midnight meetings. As to the Devil's hour, I have not heard that. And what you said is just not true, iti is an old wife's tale or something.

I used to work at a diner overnight. I saw a lot of strange people between 11 p.m. & 7 a.m. but I doubt that any of them were possessed by the devil.

I think it's more like 12:12 and 3:33 for all of you number people.

Someone is trying to scare you, right? Just don't think about the devil at any hour, don't give him any credit or recognition. If you wake at midnight or 3 AM give no thought to him. He only can have what you give him. Give him a Big Fat zero.

Both are ridiculous. Satan is among us at every hour - his spirit roams this earth and he doesn't have any care about the time on your watch.
There is one "hour" mentioned in Scripture - it is the "hour of temptation". That hour, originally was a period of 7 years, but was shortened in Revelation 9 - to five months total.
That hour will not occur until Antichrist comes on the scene.
If you are asking this question because you want to meet up with satan, keep in mind that even if you are a person who hates God with all your being, satan will still not be your friend.
He doesn't like you, so get that through your head. He has several names, and one of them is "death", if thats any indication of who he is.
If you are not a lover of God, then satan wouldn't even care to bother with you. Why?
Cuz he already has you. The ones he hangs around to bother, are Gods people. He loves the pulpit, and quite often you can find him there. Be careful what you wish for; you may get it.

If I was going to be sarcastic here, I'd tell you to set your alarm clock and 11:59 and 2:59.

It's not Biblical. It's just a superstition (I'm using the word loosely), much like other things.
