The thoght behind the Atheist belief is we have no God, God does not exist. Then they mean there is no Christianity...well, there is really no way to know that God does not exist which would force Atheism to be untrue as well. As Atheism clearly states that "there is no God." Does this makes sense to anyone else? Sorry my little atheist friends. I guess this forces everyone to be Agnostic!

I am a Christian, though

I say that there is a God. You say there is no God. Since i cannot prove it you say Christianity is false. Since you cannot prove it I say from an Atheist standpoint you are false becuase there is no way 100% you can know that God does not exist!

Yes only a Christian would have that kind of logic so you really didn't need to tell us.

There is no evidence that there is a god. It isn't rational or reasonable to believe in things without any evidence to back it up. You would be stuck with hundreds of thousands of gods and everything else that human imagination could come up with.

Not believing in god, is the same as not believing in Odin, Zeus, Ra, Hera, The Great Spirit, Osiris, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and all the others. I would be no less surprised of evidence of Odin was found than I would be if evidence of your god was.

Now if you mean that I won't say it 100% makes me an agnostic, you really need to look up the definitions. The odds that there is a god are so low that it isn't worth considering until there is some evidence.

science says that in order to live, we need all of our bodily organs that we were born with, but take away one, (cant replace it, cause that's not really taking away) and the human dies. thus, we were made, because cells only reproduce after the parenting characteristics, thus nothing changed along the line of time, so we were made. cause cells dont go opposite ways at the same time yet compliment eachother in the same way. science doesnt work like that. so THAT is PROOF that God exists!

and by the way, if you don't believe in the one true God, you might as well be called an atheist. (im not calling the questioner but rather the idiots how aren't Christians). Atheists are blind when it comes to science... (do research and prove me wrong.)

~~~chase,,,, Your "god" is the God of Christianity. For an educated and knowledgeable atheist as myself, which is a rare encounter on this site, it is very simple to disprove your god,,, just as easily as it is for you to dismiss the Gods of those Religions you regard as False. There are gods and religions which predate christianity by thousands of years and many that have come since,,, and ALL have gone by the wayside. As mankind's Intellect and Understanding directly correllates to the subjective dismissal of Religious Gods,,, respectfully, yours too will fade back into The Haze of Ignorance.
What a load of rubbish. An atheist doesn't state there is no God-an atheist says I don't believe you when you tell me God exists as he logically is entitled to do without evidence.
Following that logic, Atheism would become rejection of God instead of denial of God.
OK, what proof do you have that a god DOES exist then? A book written by a bunch of people doesn't really make much proof. A person could be lying.
Anyway, you don't seem to make much sense. Elaborate please.
Nope... wrong.
See... we're BOTH atheists. You are without belief in Quetzalcoatl, Ninsun, Zeus, Ra, Osiris, Apollo, etc. So am I!
The only disagreement between our atheism is Yahweh. That's the ONE god that you believe in and I don't. Take away Yahweh and we're both still atheist... only in that situation, we're without belief in the exact same number of deities.
no, it doesn't make any sense to me. the world doesn't revolve around christianity, if you wanted to use your logic, then you could insert a variety of other monotheist religions in there. however, i might not know if there is a god or not, i believe that there isn't one, just as you don't know if there is a god or not, you just choose to believe there is
