you use "barajas" or "Cartas"

ex: "pasame las barajas por favor"

or
"quieres jugar a las cartas conmigo?

nope,

(playing cards) card = carta(s)


tarjeta means card like in credit card or like in identity card or in like in xmas card and some others.
