Hematocrit expresses the proportion of the blood that consists of packed red blood cells, as a percentage. Therefore, high hematocrit means a lot of red blood cells.
Hemoglobin determination measures the amount of hemoglobin in grams per 100 milliliters. Hemoglobin is contained in red cells. Although a lot of red blood cells does not guarantee a lot of hemoglobin (because the amount of hemoglobin in each cell can vary) more red blood cells increases the probability of more hemoglobin. And fewer red blood cells reduces it.

To answer your exact question: If I had a high hematocrit, I would expect my hemoglobin determination to be high.
