Go in the Library the heating free - free computers, books, newspapers, videos and DVD - but most of all free heating - when you get home - turn your up - you can afford it and hot shower and in to bed - but don't let hubby catch you ....

Could you restrict and switch off heating down to 1 room, it may be that your heating system can't cope.

Every layer of clothing traps air between the next, which is the ideal way to stay warm, once you've got there. EG. 3 T shirts, blouse, pullover and fleece. Take a trip to an outdoor activities shop, army and navy etc. to see if they have some super warm clothing too. Tho stay out of the cold as much as possible.

But, you need to warm up first, so take on the suggestions like a long hot bath. Consider going to the gym or doing some vigorous exercise too, this should warm you up.

Good luck! Rob

maybe getting up putting on socks and shoes and doing some exercise will warm you up and keep you healthy! Then take a hot shower and dress in the warmest sweets and shirt (comfy ones) and then grab a blanket your hot mug of tea, coffee, coco, turn on the tv or grab a good book and in 20 mins. you will forget your cold.. until you get up to use the bathroom or refill you cup..:) or by a small space heater and turn it on right by you .. you'll feel warm in no time!

I'm not too warm either, get into a nice warm bed if your feelin ill ,if not get up and do some light chore like iron a few small things that will get the heat back into you , you'll never warm up sitting down no matter what heat you have on .

Socks are a good start - you lose a lot of body heat through your feet. A hat is another good thing, but you might feel a bit daft!
My biggest tip would be to relax your muscles. When you are cold we have a tendancy to tense up and shudder, if you do this, your body is using energy to tighten the muscles that it could be using to get you warm.
Hope this helps!!!!

60% of your natural body heat is lost through the top of your head...put a warm hat on. Layer your clothing to trap warm air in between the layers, keep up the hot drinks, try a hot water bottle (not boiling water and don't over fill it), heat the room you spend most time in, if it's the bedroom, go to bed and sleep...you will warm up for sure.

That's a weird question. My husband of 17 years has been travelling for work for the past 13 years (yes yes he has come back home at times!!!!!!! before you people ask lol ) and even during the coldest winters ever i've never had to go online and ask how to warm myself up?!

go and grab the duvet off your bed and huddle under it while you watch a movie or your favourite TV show!
either that or just climb in to bed on your own.
go out and grab a stranger to cuddle
go fill a hot water bottle and cuddle that
how about going around to one of your friends and cuddle them?

just a few suggestions off the top of my head.

Get loads of chocolate - tuck yourself up under a duvet, put some socks on (weird but it works well for me!) find a cool tv programme (CSI starts any minute) and eat and ogle. You'll forget you are cold!!!
