I have reinstall window 2000 on my desktop all good but how i can get sound back on window 2000 Thanks

You will need to install the drivers for your sound card. They should be located on the CD that came with the sound card. If you don't have this CD, you will need to know the manufacturer of your sound card and download the drivers from their website. You may also be able to find 'generic' drivers by doing a Yahoo search.

try searching for the drivers using google, just type in the model of the soundcard and then followed by drivers and then look for drivers that are compatible with Windows 2000

I guess you did not configure your sound card driver correctly.
Go to system->system config->hardware, find your sound card, install or update the driver of it.
