Today there was a fire. The people who were in it go to my church. Four of their kids died one didn't. The ages are 7,10,12, and 14 these are the ones that died. What should I do to help this family?

Hello Stakegirl,

Pray for them, offer them resource information, transportation if needed. You could get together with some friends and have a car washing to raise money for them, you could also get together with some friend and bake some cookies and pies for sale to help this family. There are many different things you could do to help.

Basic necessities! If you hear one person say anything about judgment or God's will, remove them from the general area. Food helps. Just a quick word and what they need. Right now they may not even know what day it is.

good luck & blessings to you and that family.

Let them know you are there and available. This may be the biggest thing you can do right now. Later, you may even help them get through a day or two by helping with food, etc. As long as they know you are there, that is the main thing right now.

wow, that is sad. it is got to be one of the hardest things in the world to see your child die. and even harder for more then one. children should not die before their parents. i know this isnt much of an answer, but i honestly dont think theres that much u can do for them. i think the most u can do is let them know u care.
