WOW!! ZERO COOL is soooo profound......And you with your user name ... that is sooo original! ..... the word of God is clear on this. Many ignorant people who hardly know the Word at all, let alone study it think that this event is not in the Bible, but they are mistaken. When the Bible speaks of noone knowing the day or hour, it is speaking OF the rapture, not of the second coming, when He comes with all His saints to judge and to wage war. There will be plenty of signs to precede that event.
Of course I know that you are merely being a smartass, and do not really want an answer, but there are actually other people clicking on to your post, so this is for them.
Although the rapture is not called such directly, there are plenty of references to it in the Bible.
Believers must be prepared and wait constantly for this imminent event - Matt. 24:42, 44 ; 25:1-13 ; Mark 13:33-37 ; Luke 12:35 ; 21:19, 34-36 ; Rom. 13:11 ; Phil. 4:5 ; 1 Thess. 1:10 ; 4:16 -18 ; 5:6 -11 ; 2 Tim.4:8 ; Tit. 2:13
Christ will come unexpectedly, and the time cannot be calculated - Matt. 24:36,42,44; 25:5 -7,13; Mark 13:32 -37; Luke 12:35 - 46
Christ will come to catch up believers living on earth at this time - Luke 21:36; John 14:3 ; 1 Thess 1:10; 4:15 -17 ; 2 Thess. 2:1 ; Rev. 3:10 -11
Believers living at this time will receive transformed bodies - Rom. 8:23 ; 1 Cor. 15:51 -54 ; 1 Thess. 4:16-17
Believers who died before this event will rise and be caught up with Christ - 1 Cor. 15:50 -55 ; 1 Thess. 4:16 -17
All raptured saints will be judged by Christ - John 5:22 ; Rom. 14:12 ; 1 Cor. 3:12 -15 ; 2 Cor. 5:10 ; 2 Tim. 4:8
Believers will be judged according to their deeds - Eccl. 12:14 ; Matt. 5:22; 12:36 -37 ; Mark 4:22 ; Rom. 2:5 -11, 16 ; 1 Cor. 4:5 ; 2 Cor. 5:10 ; Eph. 6:8 ; Col. 3:23 -25
These are some, there are more. You must study to know of these things, instead of spouting off about things you do not know anything about. READ, Christians!!! The truth is there!

Rapture is just a word used to describe what will happen. If you read Thessalonians 4:17 "Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP [raptured] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." So there we have it, it does say this in the bible they just dont use the word Rapture. Noone knows but God when this will actually happen but as the world gets worse, you can be guessing that its towards the end times!
these are from 1Thessalonians
1Th5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

Unlike zero cool, I believe the rapture will happen.
When? No one knows, even those off-the-wall evangelists and would-be-churchs like Jehovah's Witness sects, etc.. that claimed at one time to have it figured out down to the hour and day.
In short, about the rapture, the Bible says: "No man or women knows the day nor the hour of His coming, so live your lives, but live them so that you, when it happens, won't be unprepared."

ok the BIBLE says that no man knows the day nor the hour also that he will come as a theif in the night so we dont know but I DO know that he is coming soon. Just like in the days of noah when Noah was warning people about the flood none believed him until the storm came well the "storm" is coming just read revelation the signs are happening.

You've got it all wrong. The end of time is not the end of the world but the time of the gentiles. That time is running out and an everlasting peace will be on earth, but it must come out of a conflageration, a war situation. We are just about there now, maybe as close as August, stand by for the sparks.

I am a Christian and I do not believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. It is not scriptural. I feel bad for those that believe this, because when the "end times" arrive, and they are still stuck here on earth, I wonder how strong their faith will be when they think they were not "saved enough" to be raptured.
I believe the only rapture of living human beings is the one when Jesus comes back and the believers are taken up to be with him in the sky.

First of all, for all of you who don't believe, There is a rapture and its coming. Only God knows when it will happen. The rapture is a time when God will come back to the Earth that He created, He will take all of His children home to Heaven to love eternally forever and the ones that did not believe will be left on Earth to rot.

I have a friend who is always on and on and on and on about the rapture. Jesus will return on the clouds like it says and will judge all. There will be no one left behind as the whole of creation will be transformed. Don't believe all this stupid nonsense!

Never.
People have been proclaiming that they are living through the "end times" for waaaaay too long. There's always some unhygienic street-corner evangelist crackpot sputtering about how the world is going to end and that all the heathens better get the Lord harassed into their unsaved souls.
It STILL hasn't happened. The sky isn't falling. The oceans aren't boiling. Pigs are most definitely NOT sprouting wings and taking to the skies. They've been barking about it for years and years and years and they'll STILL be barking for years to come.
It's a scare tactic, a convenient freak- the- everliving- crap- out- of- folks magic wand that can be waved about in dramatic fashion any time the religious collective feels the soul harvest is running dry.
Trust me... go about your life. Ok, I'm sure you will anyhow considering there's really no alternative option (besides suicide, and I've heard “God” frowns upon that), but just make sure to keep in mind: STAY CALM. DON'T PANIC. REMEMBER YOUR TOWEL.
