the guy i was engaged to cheated on me several times . broke my heart . i found it easier to just leave him alone its to hard to be friends after you break up esp over something like that . i have moved on and if i see him out ill say hi but thats about it . you need to find someone that will love you and respect you the way you deserve it . it will be hard to get over him just cry and let it all out beat up a teddy bear if you have too but let it all out all your anger and hurt and then slowly start healing your heart .
good luck and trust me you ll get through this . i did

My boyfriend in high school hurt be like crazy(1999). I really loved him. Cheated on me like hell. We stayed together. How I got over it ;I moved out and I start talking to this other guy. My ex-boyfriend and I still talked after we broke up. I even went to see his family in South Carolina for Thanksgiving(2000) I really enjoyed that trip. Still to this day he still call and check on me. It hurts at first but you get over it. You guys can remain friends as long as if he get a new girl you want be jealous. :) Good Luck

TIME, and dont' try to be friends. I know it's the worst answer in the world, but every time you're in contact with him, u'll relive the pain. Nobody wants to wait, but you can't speed up the process. Call on a friend whos' been through it, lean on them, and try to move on. I talk a good game, but am going through the same thing, i've found it does get easier with time, and the only time i regress is when i'm in contact with him. I hope you take my advice, it's true, and it does work. Going on 6 weeks post-break up, doing much better....

You realize what he did to you... instead of wanting just you, he wanted someone else.. and he acted on it. He didn't love you or like you as much as you thought he did.. he was a self-obsessed a.ss... Get mad at him, and don't worry about being his friend right now.. it'll take time to completely get over it, and then you can think about being his friend.

It's happened to me-give each other space & when you feel comfortable, call him & ask how he's doing, don't go back with him yet, just be friends, keep in touch & in the future things may get better.
