I was out last night with work colleagues and a girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:

She wants us to get on at work
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants to socialise after work i.e.get to know each other better-if work stays at work

Meaning???

Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions?Advice?

She has a Boyfriend of 2 YEARS—have heard he won’t settle with her,there is trouble bwt them.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship and that we do flirt with each other

Says she don't do 1 night stands, told me that she’s only had 3 boyfriends,said what she looks for in blokes

Colleagues say there is tension bwt us but don't know what it is-neither do I!

The flirting has increased,smiling more,emails,inviting me to join her+mates on breaks....

Or is she being friendly???

Im not sure whats up with her. In a way it sounds like becuase she is having problems at home, she is running right toward you. I would seriously be cautious about this. Becuase you cant really tell what her motives is. Its okay to flirt here and there but if you dont know the whole story about her and her boyfriend I would watch my step. Honestly, i would just ask her where all this come about? I mean if she wants to clear the air then completely clear it but dont have you sitting there lost and confused about the situation. Dig up more dirt with her if you really want to find out. If not then I would just watch my back.

She wants to clear HER air. She's been thinking about you and hoping you feel for her what she feels for you. She doesn't want you to kiss and tell...you still have to work together ya know. She may have a b-friend, but obviously that doesn't mean a whole hell-of-a-lot to her. She wants you to know she's not a ****...and is looking to hook-up with you for life. Guys sure are clueless sometimes.
