If you are dating at 13 what are you going to be doing at 15? Its not the girl the dad's (and moms) don't trust. Its the guys. A guy will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear to get what he wants. He can't help it. He thinks with his d*ck. The will keep on and on until they wear you down. And then you'll give in because you will think he really loves you and it's ok if he loves you. Then when he gets you pregnant, or is finds someone new to poke then there you are. A hard lesson to learn. But all this can and does happen when your 16. At least your a little smarter at 16 then you are at 13. Try group dating. You won't hate yourself in the morning.

well usually it's because of whatever happened long ago when they were your age. They feel that since they dated early and they kisssed girl maybe even had sex with them, they don't want to think of their daughter being put through the same thing! Basically they feel that they could do it but you can't...but just a little advice Don't Tell Them You Have a Boyfriend!!! it's always better if they don't know!:)

I'm glad my father didn't. He is a wise man. Young girls are not mature enough to be in a complex relationship or any complex situation. Father's have a responsibility to take care of their children, if this means looking out for their daughter, then so be it. Who knows what that boy is thinking.

It's not that they don't trust their Daughters it's that they don't trust the guy taking out their Daughter. Beleive me, your Dad was a young man once and he remembers what that was like! I know that most of my freinds with Daughters are very protective of them and that's why.

well being a dad my self, i will say it not trusting the girl, but ,knowing how some boys are,,,,they tell you every thing,an try any thing to,get you in the sack, so it not trusting the girls
