There's something called "boundaries"....you really shouldn't cross that line. Seriously, lust...love...totally different. A true friend wouldn't even consider trying to move in on their buddies partner...thats not even the slightest bit of cool. If this guy is saying he likes you, then maybe you should let your friend know he might not be the one for her...and he shouldnt be the one for you either...if he's doing it to her...chances are he will do it to you!!!!! Think about it!

In situations like this its best to look but don't touch. Our human instincts tells us to attack without thinking of the consequences. You need to ask yourself how much of a friend are you. Are you willing to lose a friendship over something so minute.

If your best friend is dating him then I wouldn't even think about it. If it doesn't work out between them and they both agreed to end the relationship then maybe later you can date him.
