Unless there was an emergency, yes, I would break up with him. If he doesn't think you're important enough to show and makes promises, he is not a guy you can trust. Move on.
When some ones word is not good, he is not an honest person.

Without flipping out, try and resolve the issue as to why he didn't show up...
Remember these words..
If one is not as good as their word (promise) then they are not good enough.

you're breaking up with him just for that?! maybe he had a good reason.. and if not.. I still don't think it's a reason to break up with him.
If he lies to you all the time then maybe.. if he was out with some other girl then sure.. it all depends.
