Personally i would at-least give the guy a chance, even if i did not find them attractive at first you can always change your mind once you have gotten to know them.
Always give it a chance cause you never know where it could lead.

I would because sometimes I don't fancy someone because I haven't got to know them enough ie sometimes knowing someone's personality better leads me to fancying them.

No. I have before and it REALLY takes the fun out of dating. If they ask you out and you get a great feeling, say yes. if you don't fell anything and it's just another question, say no.

no it is not fair to that person, you are just playing them if you do your preventing them from moving on and being with someone who actually is attracted to them

no - if the initial spark of attraction isnt there its quite hard to make yourself feel it afterwards.
