From my father: Keep your head on. Meaning always make wise decisions and the other is something he said to my brother and not to me: Don't ever let anyone know your job better than you do. It's YOUR job so no one else should know it better than you. (That has been a mantra for me in my journey through life.

From my mom: When i think about it, it's never any advice per se that she gave, it's more the way she lived her life (maybe I should say lives - she's still alive) She works tirelessly hard and was never afraid to venture out and take risks!!!

2. Never disagree with your husband (vise versa) in front of your children because your child could try to take advantage of the parent who's on their side.

When I was young my Mom told me not to use drugs, all they did was intensified your personality, no one could answer the one question I asked...what if you were ditsy to begin with...to this day I have never done drugs because of this

My dad told me not to trust him or my mom....damn good advice since he turned out to be pretty worthless.

that I am very smart to make stupid mistakes and it works...Because I haven't done anything wrong in my life I love it and I am thankful for his advice...We all have brains so use it in a good way...
