My friend had a big argument with her b/f, make a long story short he grabbed her throat for a moment and began to choke her as if he lost his mind. then as if her b/f just came back into reality he realized what he done and started crying and begging for her forgivness and was so sorry he didn't know what came over him should she stay with him or leave him or get him help or something?

The main thing she should know at this point is that he can be abusive and things can get worse. This is the beginning of a abusive person and it seems to me that he can't control his body part when it comes to arguments, she got to explain to him that he shouldn't put his hands on her for no reason at all and if he continues to do that he needs to be long gone. She don't need an abusive partner, she is worth more than that. I hope things work out for the best and nothing worser. She gotta keep her eyes open because this can get worser. Don't let the crying and begging fool ya.

Definitely leave! I had an abusive b/f who did bad things to me, and pretended he didn't know what he was doing and that he felt bad... even a few fake tears sometimes.. it's all show so he won't get in trouble and so she'll feel sorry for him and stay with him.. she needs to leave, b/c it will get worse and she will get hurt if she doesn't realize he's a psycho.

Get him help. But then again a guy doesnt just grab a girl by the throat for no reason. She must have pissed him off pretty bad. Maybe they should get some help together...

Get him some help, he's aware of what he done but he couldn't control himself. Then again what did she do or say to him at that time, leave him because thing will only get worst, next time can be a punch.
