The answer lies in many other questions. First of all, you may actually be over-conditioning. Your hair can become too soft and not really be frizzy but static like. Do you blow dry or flat iron your hair? If you do, and you're not using a thermal spray or something to protect your hair, it may be too dry and brittle. Are you washing your hair with extremely hot hair, luke warm water is best on the hair's "shaft". After you wash your hair, if you towel it dry, do you brush you hair while it's wet with something other than a wide tooth come? If you are, you are stretching the hair, making it weak and break. All of these are factors in making hair frizzy.
I know you don't want to go to a salon, but you may need to get your hair cut to get rid of the dead ends and try some new washing and drying techniques.
I have extremely curly and thick hair and I flat iron it every single day, so I hear your cries. Some of the products I use off and on (i rotate) are (and they vary in price from cheap to expensive): fructis smoothing milk, john freeda anit-friz, matrix sleek.look shampoo, conditioner and smooting wax, biolage thermal spray, Graham Webb Back to Basics Bamboo Straight shampoo and conditoner, and any humidity resistant hairspray (i like matrix vavoom).
I've heard people say use mayonaise, but I haven't been that brave yet!!
Hope the info helps and good luck with your tresses!!!

You can use some lemon juice on you hair. It's bontanical extract should reduce frizz and boost shine. Also frizziness can be caused by driness in the hair. Maybe try to install a humidifier since the air can be so dry during this season.

I also suffer the wrathe of "the frizz", I have 2 do's that I can maintain. I use a lot of mousse to get the wet look and that keeps the frizz down and the other one I just discovered and that is a flat iron. This helps a lot and gives me a straighter look, but in damp weather it sucks. I do use the anti frizz products, but too much makes it look greasy.

extraordinary avatar call via ways, what's that from? is it from the prepare, friends? anyhow.. you may rather attempt conditioner! The citre shine anti-frizz serum could be working yet whilst no longer then change to a minimum of something else. i choose to advise mattress Head Manipulator, John frieda brillant brunette shine marvel, or paul mitchell great skinny. additionally, attempt a leave in conditioner too like Infusium 23(

I recommend TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret. This works really well and it controls the frizz for a long time and it keeps it from twirling back into place. Click the link below for more information about the product:

Have you tried using a leave-in conditioner? It might help. I use Infusium 23 and really like it. You can find it at just about any Walmart/Target, or Walgreens, CVS, etc.
