somehow the celebs with big hair budgets go back anf forth in hair color and never seem to have to cut their hair all off, or damaged looking from all the dye and bleaching back and forth, but for most of us, bleaching it back out to blonde would be very damaging, and I've never found a good way to do it...so the best answer is get a short hair cut, cut off as much of the dair as you can...I know the prob is the light roots growing in looks weird...but it looks kinda cool if you have about an inch of the light roots and then an inch of the dark color left on the outside...but it means you got to cut hair real short...cutting off the dark part is the best way to do it.

Go to a hair salon and have it done professionally. I recently dyed my own hair and went from a dyed Blondie to what I thought was going to be back to my natural dark brown hair color and I now have very dark brown/Black hair with a red tint on top.

Go to a salon, they can strip the color and get back your natural color. I am drk brown and went blonde then back again. I have done this several times just for change.

as a STYLIST.. for 6 years with my own salon. what i would do is call your hairdresser, tell her what u want. chances are that she will have to strip the dark brown color out until it reaches your desired level's undertones..then she will have to deposit your desired color onto it. this is a LONG, COSTLY process.
Its goin to damage your hair for sure and its going to require some TLC for weeks afterward. there are other ways to do it..but that seems to be the best way.
good luck! hope this info helps..

Go to a hair salon and have it done professionally. odds are that they'll have to strip your hair before applying the new color to make it significantly lighter.
This is generally NOT a process you want to try at home. It can really dry out your hair if not done correctly!!

Go to a stylist because they will have to bleach out the brown color and put a toner on it to get a nice color. Don't try to do this yourself because box colors will not lift the darker colors off enough. Oh and Please don't let it grow out by itself, I think that looks so trashy.

You have to wiat about two weeks to dye it back, or else you can become bald, and many other things. So just wait a couple weeks, and dye it back to your origanal color.
