You can on defrost, but better yet is to boil them. The longer the better promotes tenderness. I suggest 40 mins. Season water if you like but nothing that will burn during oven or BBQ time.

Your microwave should have a defrost button. It should allow you to enter how much the item weighs and you can determine how long from there. I personally wouldn't defrost in the microwave because it also heats the meat up. You might try placing your wrapped and sealed ribs in a bowl of slightly warm water and let defrost.

I wouldn't. Put them in the fridge overnight if possible. Even defrosting in the microwave tends to cook the meat a little. If you are in a pinch, try the water method as suggested in other posts.

If your microwave has a defrost setting use it. If not, use 30% power. Time should be checked often.

If they are frozen I usually boil them until they are cooked and then bake them for about another hour on 350 degrees with sweet baby rays bbq sauce on them. They turn out fabulous.
