You just pretty much answered your own question, Self control is the best control and i think your approach is very affective. do some 4 play until YOUR ready not when he is ready, and if he dont respect that you may want to rethink your relationship. But you also want to look into seducation books, and 4 play, games, romantic things that stimulates your mind body and soul, without having intercourse. Light some candles, cut the lights off, turn the music up, get the oil out, and do something special that feels great like a massage, do some kissing, rubbing etc etc. If you needs help get some nice 4 play books so you can energize your brain wtih fun ideas...Also you can try taking a shower or bath if you not that comfortable you can always wear a bathing suit...But try to have sex with his mind, and blow his mind with your kissing, licking, hugging, rubbing what ever it is you want to do

Have you told him that you are not ready for sex and that you are satisfied with the way things are. You don't want him to think of you as a tease and then you start to have problems in your relationship. The foreplay can make him want to do other things that you're not ready for. Make sure that you are both on the same page as far as your foreplay will go no further. And if he love you the way you love him he will respect that.

I hope he is not pressuring you. You know what happens when most guys have sex with their girlfriends, right? They move on to the next conquest! If you aren't ready, you need to tell him. If he really loves you --or at the very least respects you-- he will wait. Are you sure he is right for you? Do you share the same values? How long has he been committed to you? Would he support your baby if you were accidentally impregnated? Have you two gone to get tested for STDs together? I hope you don't ruin your life for a selfish guy who doesn't care to understand your concerns. Good luck!
