everytime i get out of my van, i get shocked when i touch the door. my hair will stand on end and gets full of static when i drive anywhere. is there anything i can use to get some of the static out of the van? what about bounce fabric softener sheets? Anyone ever had this problem?

I have this problem in the winter....I use static guard..works great!

I use and old leather belt, attach it to the rear of the car, but it must be touching a metalic section, then allow the other end of the belt to drag on the ground, only an inch or so. this will draw static electricity from your car.

There are static "sticks" that attach to your bumper and ground the car when you get in & out. Am not sure where you would get them in the States but in Canada you get them at Canadian Tire.

I only have this problem in the winter and I use static gaurd.
