I have heard that chocolate is healthier for you and your heart then once thought. As a child growing up, we were always told that chocolate was "junk food", but I have heard recent studies show that chocolate may actually be healthier then once thought and do wonders for the human body. Is this so?

That's my theory and I'm sticking with it! LOL

I think that ANYTHING in moderation is a good thing. I've heard that a little bit of chocolate each day is good for the heart. It's the over indulging that's the problem.

I don't think it is healthier for us than once thought .... it is just that the thought about it has changed. The chocolate is just the same.

I am sure that chocolate is a gift from God.

Cocoa has antioxidants in it that are healthy for you. That said, dark chocolate is healthier for you than milk chocolate because of the lower sugar content.

Sure if you eat chocolate with no butter fat or sugar added.
What they are not saying is that dark chocolate is better for you than semi sweet or milk, which is basic common sense being as dark chocolate doesn't have as much butter fat or sugar. See how that works? Still can't equate it with broccoli no matter how hard we try.
