I was reaching into my pocket and had a bic mechanical pencil in there. there point went under my fingernail, broke off, and was stuck under there. I used a tweaserm (sp?) to pull it out. There is a cut there now. What should i do so that this does not get infected?

Keep it clean with an antiseptic soak once a day and use an antiseptic cream after the soak.

Dip it in some peroxide to get rid of any trace of the lead. Then keep it clean. You may want to put a bandaid on it. Make sure to change it when it gets wet or dirty.

Pour alcohol over it. And try not to get the area wet any more than you can help. But if you can't get around it, use more alcohol.

put neosporin(sp) on it and lol it is tweasers lol
