No Chippy.
God the Father is Spirit, Jesus was God in the flesh (our natural world) and the Holy Spirit is God / Jesus Spirit that dwells within us. They are three in one being. God is a triune being. So are we. We have a body, mind and spirit.
Praying in the name of Jesus is so our prayers are heard. We only get to the Father through Jesus. (John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through me.)
Had Jesus not died on the cross, we'd still be doing animal sacrifices to atone for our sins.

They are both the same and different. Jesus is a being. He is God. He is also completely Human. The father is not human. The holy spirit is not human. Jesus also exists as a spirit.
The father knows things as God that Jesus does not know as a human.
The reason that this situation is hard to understand is becuase the bible is pre-renaissance and does not try to build a logical argument. It only describes what "is". Its a lot more of an eastern way of thinking.
The father exists. The son exists. The holy spirit exists. They are all God. They are all also one.

In Philippians 3, when Jesus is said to have emptied Himself by adding flesh--it is the poetic way to say He took on humanity, and by doing so, would add to His being the mind of a man (not just the physical body). Jesus was sent to live this life, in subjection to the Father--meaning that while Jesus as God knows these things, Jesus as Man could only access knowledge that the Father knew He needed. Thus in times like Mark 13:32, we here Jesus, the God-Man, speaking as an obedient son, who is content to not access that knowledge.
Hope that helps.

Theyre not the same.
Paul made a big big mistake by idolizing Jesus.
In a religion where idol worship is wrong, why do people see God in Jesus is beyond me.
Has it occured to anyone that the word 'son' in the bible meant a son without a father...literally. Since they used to call people by their fathers name back then: Jesus son of so and so..would probably end up being...the son. So some idiot thought it was the son of God. lol how lowly. But am sorry Marry and God did not copulate. And we arent Gods children because God does not have a gender issue.
Sigh

Prior to Jesus being made man, he was part of God. Jesus was born all human with the heart (spirit) of God. If he had still been God, it would not have made sense. His father (God) worked through him. Once Jesus died, the physical body as it had been was dead but the heart (spirit) remained and once again became God. it was God's spirit that returned to earth to communicate with believers. Thus God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It is the same for us humans. When we die, the body goes back to dust per se but our spirit (that which makes us like God) returns to our Father in Heaven. Jesus in spirit is God but now that spirit has had the human experience so acts as an intermediary on our behalf. Confusing and complicated I know.

I'm sorry you didn't get the kind of response you would have liked. It is a very complex topic. We believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have different personalities, but they are fundamentally one. I'm reading a Catholic theology book and he calls it "the same nature." There is fellowship in the Trinity, and thus there has to be separate personalities. If you're serious about wanting to understand it, I could find you more references or go on more.

This is one of those misconceptions again...
Virtually every bible scholar in the world knows that the only line in the bible establishing the trinity (John 5:7) wasn't actually in there originally and was later inserted based on a lie. It's fabricated, made up, and not something to be taken seriously. If you look at the revised standard edition (the most accurate as it was done by 32 actual bible scholars based on the oldest documents they could find) it drops the trinity completely - among other changes.
Although there are still hundreds of other irreconcilable contradictions. :p

Whenever Jesus said He didn't know something, He was speaking in His humanity, which got tired, hungry, etc., and eventually died (albeit He rose again).
The Trinity is a tough concept. One God, three Persons. We have an analogy in the universe itself: space, time, matter. But Jesus also said, "I and the Father are one." So the analogy only goes so far. God, being God, is way beyond us. We will understand when we get to heaven, but I think His essence will remain somewhat of a mystery until then. It's part understanding and part just pressing our "I believe" button.

Came here do do my best with an answer for you since you are frustrated. I see it as Jesus referring to himself at that time and that upon his rejoining with the complete God in heaven he now knows.
which leads me to something I often wonder at for which there are no direct answers. How did a Jesus become aware of the fact he was God? Surely power and wisdom cam to him slowly as to a child - that is a related wow concept
