this guy is my friend...we talk somewhat.....this summer we talked almost everyday. he says hi to me and notices me and stuff
but the problem is i pretend not to like him when i really do and the only reason i pretend not to is bc i aksed him out and he said that it was better if we just stayed friends...so now im hurting and being fake...what do i do?

the funny thing is, is that i have been in that exact situation before and i no how tough it can really be...... you see the only real reason he probly said no to going out and that he just wanted to be friends was because maybe he thought that if you guys became boyfriend and girlfriend that it might damage your friendship and he probly definetly dosent want that. so i wouldnt be all upset because he could be just trying to keep you closer by just being friends. and i wouldnt act fake... just act like everything is cool between you guys and that nothing ever happened... act like you are fine with just being friends and not going out. because if you show him that you are really upset about it then it becomes a pitty thing and you dont want that. so the best thing is to keep playin the game and wait a litte while dont worry he will come around!!!

That is a tough one. I have never been in that exact situation but similar. I guess if he states he just wants to be friends there is not much you can do about it. Start looking for the man for you - the one that wants you back.

youre not in love, but it sounds like you really like him. try flirting with him, and see how he reacts. maybe you can get him to ask you out just by making it seem like your interested.
