I have a crow tattoo on my upper arm and I love it, but what kind of dress can I wear to make it look nice instead of the "girl in classy dress with a 4 inch tattoo on her arm."
I could constantly wear a shawl to cover it up in a nice dress..but...

I am not unclassy, I got the tattoo with a meaning and I didn't want a back or a leg tattoo.

I think its fine that you are the girl in the classy dress with a (kick ***) tattoo showing. Don't wear a shawl, don't use dermablend. Show your tats off with pride and don't worry about the people who don't like it.

I think pin-up type dresses do fit the tattoo look very well, so go with that.

Wear the little black dress. Your personality is what makes you classy or trashy, not a tattoo. I had a woman ask me once what I do when I go out for dinner.... I put on a dress and heels and go out just like every one else! I dont think they make a dress that would cover all of mine, LOL

i love the way a tattoo looks when wearing a dress. i think the key is do totally pull off the outfit. completely ignore the tattoo when dressing. make sure the hair is totally fabulous. the makeup perfect the shoes awesome and the tattoo will just be another accessory.

Just because you have a tattoo does not mean you do not have class. Those other people are just haters, thats what they do, they had no intentions of answering your question honestly, they wanted to hang out in the TATTOO section and bash on people who have tattoos. LOL, its amusing, just laugh. But anywho, to answer your question, I gotta agree that the 50's Pin Up look is the way to go!

Don't cover them. People should like you for you, not based on a tattoo. I have several and I am getting married in 17 days. I'm not covering any that happen to be showing. Be yourself.

Avoid bright colors like red, yellow, etc. for your dress. It brings it out more like that. You dont even need to cover it up. Its your body and you are showing it they way you want it too. But advice wise, wear like a really sleaming black or navy blue dress. That should do the trick!!

don't cover it up if you don't want to, just wear a nice elegant dress, something fairly simple. i just got married and my bride and i were both in fun dresses with our tattoos showing, and if i do say so myself, we looked great!

but, i know how it is - i have to go to a bar mitzvah in a month so i'll have to cover my tattoos then, i'm probably going to just wear a nice cardigan with a big sparkly broach on it over my fanciest evening gown.

this is humorous that you may want to ask this question because i change into basically speaking about this the different day. i change into at a wedding ceremony reception and this lady walked in with a halter dress and it change into lovable till she circled and that i spoke of the tat on her again. i presumed to myself, "YUCK! there is no thanks to make a tat look glamorous." i for my area do not imagine they supply the impact of being sturdy exceptionally in formal settings. do not delay the date because there'll be different formal events you'll pass to interior the destiny and what is going to you do then? i might want to easily re-evaluate getting the tat...yet this isn't any longer the question is it? Sorry. LOL.

Get a nice cardigan or maybe a 3/4 sleeve shrug.

anything with that 40s/50s pin-up gril look will not make your tatoo look out of place. I don't know why, but it works!

also maybe something more on the "goth" side (think blacks and reds) depending on the style of your crow and if you like that look.
