This is a rather complicated situtation...I've know this guy for about 1 yr and a half. We didnt talk into aug 2006 which means we've actually talked or been some type of acquaintances for about 6 months. He first started talking to me it was a bit awkard, the first thing he said was "You talking ****" while I was talking to my friend. From then we would talk more but still it was weird becuase he talks little. As the year progressed we talked more and my friends started noticing something, even before I did. Eventually through a mutual friend we found out we liked each other. He told the friend that he would ask me out. Unfortunately he still hasn't. I talk to him time to time but sthings are a bit different. How can I tell if he still likes me? I'm ever so confused.

He acts like he doesnt even know me sometimes. Especially if were in a large group he won't even look at me. But in a small group or we're alone he stares at me and pays attentiont to whatever I say trying to get into my conversations.

I Think he still likes you but the new exciting feeling that people get when they first meet, maybe starting to wear off and he is falling into the friend zone. Because you guys have said so little to each other he probably feels the same way you do and he's waiting for you to make a move. Ask him to do something manly for you, like carry something heavy. While he's doing that just chat with him about school or future plans it will be a good ice breaker. Trust me this will work.

Dear its really confusing
i suggest to make the move ask and be frank and honest ask him out and it seems that either your guy is shy or he is a bit unexperienced ,if he accepts give him yourself the time and place once there try to be as soft as possible and try to clarify the things that are confusing you in a gentle way do not push him be very political. that is if he accepts ,if not try to ignore him and attract somebody else in a decent way if he likes he will try to interfer if not forget about him don't bother life is too short to be sad best luck take care

If you do like him, you could make a casual suggestion to spend time together. While you two are in a group of friends at the same time, you can say, "I'm going to grab a latte, anyone want to join me?"
If you're never with friends together, sometime when you're talking to him you could just say, "I'm headed over to _________, wanna join me?"
You can probably tell if he likes you by the response he gives you.

He seems a bit immature. Play hard to get, if he sees that you are not so easily accessible to him then it will make him make a decision as to whether he wants to be more than friends or not. Do not wait around on him. Just go about your life and if he comes around great, if not then you deserve better anyway.

If you really want to have a thing with this guy, try to bring him around with a little feminine ingenuity. If that doesn't work, find a guy that knows what he's doing. It's not your job to train this flirtationally challenged individual......unless of course you're attracted to shy guys.

He might. I go to school with a guy I went out with last year. From time to time he'll smile at me and tell me hi but when he is with his friends he won't even talk to me. He says **** about me and my boyfriend because he is jelous. So my guess is he still does like you. Try to go out with a different guy and see what he says to that. If he says anythig he is jelous and still likes you.

It sounds to me like he has a thing for you, but he's shy. Try talking to him and telling him how you feel (in a private setting).

Yes he still likes u he's just shy because he likes u and he doesnt know how u feel about him and thats wat boys do they pay attention to u when yall are alone and when u are not he acts like he doesnt know u anymore
