So I have always dreamed about marrying a British guy. I always just seem to gravitate to things that are british like music, fashion, personalities, literature, movies, humor, artists,..etc. I really didn't even realized this until I actually dated a British guy. I never noticed this about myself until it all made sense that most of my "favorite" things are Brit related. I grew up in Staten Island New York in a Spanish family so I have no idea what this manifested from.
But I am currently dating someone that is not any of those things. My question is should I hold out and hope to find what my number 1 dream is? Or should I write it off as just being a childish dream and forget it?

Ok.. this is something i can answer, as i've studied these sort of senarios.
I"ve always been fascinated with the midevil times, and white males. But doesn't mean that i would cut everyone other race off, and their is no way, that i could find someone from the mid evil times either..lol OR that i'm going to be dressing like that. ONLY on Halloween i can! :))
BUT my point is, their is probably something in your past life that you are remembering, and that is bringing out this likeness in you. Nothing wrong with that, but that is just what it is.. Something you once loved, as another person in your pastlife. Although it would be great if you met a british guy and found compatible things, it doesnt mean he would be the best bet for you. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. IF you have a great guy, that treats you well now, why dump him for something that you havent found yet. Unless you dont really love him.
I've made it a goal to meet a great white guy, and hope to have a great long lasting relationship with. Because i'm very attracted to them. BUT, the ones i've met so far, are very unfaithful, lying bastards. Am i willing to put up with that? HELL NO! IF i ever meet someone that i'm attracted too, and treats me good of another race, then hell i'm taking it! :)

Well, are you too old to forget your dream? I am guessing you are young, early twenties at the oldest. Why dont you look for a job in England and move there? It happens. Find out how people go to Europe and work for a year.

You need to see the person for himself, not a group of characteristics. If you are happy with him great. If not, move to England. You chances of meeting a British gut there are much higher than anywhere else.

If the relationship you are in has no problems and he makes you happy, DEFINITLY write it off... Its probably just some sort of past life causing drama in your new one. Enjoy what you have today, it could all be gone tomorrow.

I'd probably say never give up - if you actually want something you may never be truly happy unless you go for it. But then again Im stubborn and would probably wait a lifetime.....
