I don't know where you're from, but most people don't pay much attention to those age rules, especially when you two are so close in age anyway.

No you would not go to jail. But I am concerned that once you do decide to have a sexual relationship with this girl that it will most likely continue when you reach the age of 18, and that is when you will get into trouble. You will then be considered an adult, and she will still be a minor. A person that is under the age of 18 is considered a minor.

relies upon on what the age of consent is on your state. maximum states that is 16 and withen 2 years. So a 16 year previous could have sex with an 18 year previous a 17 year previous could have sex with as a lot as 19 and obviously 18 could have sex with everyone of consenting age. no matter if that is 16 they could't lock you up, yet no matter if that is 18 like some states they could attempt to strive against it and get you arrested.

Depends on what your state considers the legal age of consent. Most states you'd be o.k due to the fact your not 18, though if your girlfriends parents wanted to press charges of statutory rape the might be able to try you as an adult if your 18th birthday is near. go to your states official we site and look at the statutes.

If you were 18, your gf could backstab you and charge you on counts of rape. Once you are over 18, you should leave minors alone for certain reasons.

I would think it depends on your state, her parents, and if she was emotionally traumatized in a negative way. Technically, I think you COULD be arrested, but since you are under age as well, it's not likely.
