No, they won't be concerned about other shots, it is a service run by local humane societies at a special low price, to make sure that animals have their rabies shots, so it won't be transmitted. The shots are given by volunteer vets or vet techs. Ask if they are giving the one year or three year rabies vaccine. I was able to have my boys done for $5 each, and it was the 3 year vaccine.

I also give my own shots, and most farmers etc do. I give the record slip to my vet, with the number from the vaccine, so he has it on file. Rabies vaccine can only be ordered and given by a vet.

The short answer is: Yes. They'll need to know how much the dog weighs, how old she is, and if she's had a rabies vaccination before. If she's never had one, they'll probably give her a short-term shot that will last a year. After that, she can get shots every 3 to 5 years depending on the type of rabies vaccination used.

When they do rabies clinics like that, they don't usually ask for that info. They are just concerned with getting the dog vaccinated for it NOW.

If you were to go to a vet for future shots, no, they do not usually accept that as proof that the dog is vaccinated against parvo or rabies.

They aren't going to care about the dog's other shots; they just want to give rabies vaccinations to as many unvaccinated animals as possible. Sounds like a great bargain, so I say go for it!

Even if you didn't have proof of rabies vaccination you'd still be able to get her rabies shots.

Unless she's been bitten or there was some kind of exposure there shouldn't be a problem.

You should be able to but I would check the background of the stall to make sure it's sterile.
